Professor Marian Ewurama Addy, President of the Anglican University College of Technology, has urged citizens of Nkoranza to support the Anglican Church of Ghana to ensure the successful establishment of the proposed Anglican University in the area. Prof. Addy was addressing the congregation at Saint Barnabas Anglican Church at Nkoranza. The church service, organized by the Anglican Bishops Conference, was to thank Okatakyie Agyeman Kudom IV, Omanhene of Nkoranza traditional area, for releasing a large tract of land for the construction of the university. She said a faculty of agriculture would be established to help promote self-employment among the youth and students who would gain admission into the college. Prof. Addy said the university would offer courses in agricultural sciences and engineering, water engineering, food science and computer engineering.
