CHILDHOOD (–)
Okemah, Oklahoma
WOODY SEZ ~ "Okemah was one of the singingest, square dancingest, drinkingest, yellingest, preachingest, walkingest, talkingest, laughingest, cryingest, shootingest, fist fightingest, bleedingest, gamblingest, gun, club and razor carryingest of our ranch towns and farm towns because it blossomed out into one of our first Oil Boom Towns."
Woodrow efternamn Guthrie was born on July 14, , in Okemah, Oklahoma. He was the second-born son of Charles and Nora Belle Guthrie. His father – a cowboy, land speculator, and local politician – taught Woody Western songs, Indian songs, and Scottish folk tunes. His Kansas-born mother, also musically inclined, had an equally profound effect on Woody.
Slightly built, with an extremely full and curly head of hair, Woody was a precocious and unconventional boy from the start. Always a keen observer of the world around him, the people, music and landscape he was exposed to made lasting impressions on him.

Rockstar Thursday: Raul Soria Jr.
Whats your name?
Raul Soria Jr.
Where are you based?
Honolulu, Hawaii (soon to be Portland, OR)
Whats your favorite camera for concert photography?
I’m using a Canon EOS R. So far I’m loving it. That camera is my first jump into the world of mirrorless photography, so it’s a whole new universe for me. The ability to see my image through the viewfinder seconds after I’ve taken it still blows my mind. I’ve only known Canon, so I’ve just been upgrading models when the duct tape starts to get sticky on my previous camera.
Whats your our favorite lens for concert photography?
I can’t say I have a definitive favorite since every situation lends itself to a different answer. At the moment, my Canon f/ has been my go-to for the venues and distances I shoot. That being said, I never leave the house without my Canon 50mm f/, though. Its my safety net.
Whats your number 1 record of all time?
As the years go by, my music
