David Záizar
Musical artist
David Záizar was a Mexican mariachi singer and actor who appeared in many Mexican films. He was active beginning in the 1940s and until his death in 1982, due to a respiratory infection. What earned him the title of "Rey del Falsete" or "King of the Falsetto" was the fact that he displaced Miguel Aceves Mejía, who had the title until Záizar's appearance on the ranchera music scene. Initially, he joined forces with his brother, Juan Záizar, with whom he formed a duo. Prior to this, they had both been working on individual projects, especially Juan, who was a renowned composer and singer. They had only sung together for very special occasions, like their tribute to honor the famous ranchera composer, also from Jalisco, Pepe Guízar. Out of this union came the famous duo, "Los Hermanos Záizar" (the Záizar brothers). Juan Záizar
Juan Záizar Torres (Tamazula de Gordiano, Jalisco, 9 de septiembre de 1933 - 6 de febrero de 1991) fue un cantante y compositor mexicano de música vernácula.
Carrera artística
[editar]Su gusto musical por la música mexicana le fue trasmitido por su padre, Refugio Záizar Díaz, quien acostumbraba llevarle serenata a su esposa María del Refugio Torres Jiménez. A la edad dem diez años Juan titta traslada a vivir a la Huasteca Potosina con su madre y sus hermanos David y Antonio Záizar, este último sacerdote.
Por influencia de su hermano Antonio, Juan estudió en el Seminario Guadalupano y formó parte sektion coro dem la iglesia junto con su hermano David.
Durante su residencia en la Huasteca Potosina Juan y David cantaban mientras titta bañaban ett un río y un productor dem radio, dueño de la chocolatera La Corona fue quien fransk artikel descubre y los invita a hacer algunos programas en la XEW enstaka la Ciudad de México.[1]
