"for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances." Philippians b (NIV)

Have you ever noticed how over-extending yourself tends to bring unwanted pressure into your life?

Sometimes I think we busy ourselves in order to gain more, find acceptance among peers, land a better position, and gain riches of all kinds. I&#;ve decided to make Wednesday&#;s, &#;Wednesday in the Word&#; day. Each Wednesday I&#;ll post one of my devotions. I hope they encourage you and draw you nearer to the Lord.

Recently, I submitted a book proposal to several Publishing Houses. To my surprise, I have been offered two contracts by two different publishers. So since I&#;m in middle of asking, &#;Lord, What should I do?&#; I&#;ve posted a devotion writien on that subject. (Tomorrow, I&#;ll tell you more about my upcoming book, plus, a new devotional book that&#;s just been released by Proverbs 31 Ministries!)

    By Micca Campbell

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed
